We are a family-owned fence company, deeply rooted in the belief that quality and integrity go hand in hand. Our mission goes beyond building the best fences; we are committed to building a better world. While we craft high-quality fences that bring security and beauty to your property, we also work tirelessly to bring safety and hope to communities in desperate need.
Every fence we build helps us fulfill a larger purpose. That’s because 30% of our net profits are dedicated to funding clean water projects in villages where safe drinking water is a luxury, not a given. We are committed to building wells for these communities, changing lives one drop at a time.
Why Clean Water Matters
In many villages around the world, access to clean water is a daily struggle. Families are forced to collect water from muddy streams or contaminated sources, putting their health and lives at risk. This unsafe water is often riddled with bacteria and diseases, leading to illnesses such as cholera, dysentery, and typhoid. Tragically, many children do not survive these preventable conditions. Women and children spend hours each day walking long distances to fetch this dangerous water, time that could otherwise be spent in school or improving their communities.

The Impact of a Well

A single well can transform an entire village. Each well provides clean, safe water to as many as 1,000 people, drastically reducing the risk of waterborne diseases. With access to clean water, children can attend school, parents can work to provide for their families, and entire communities can thrive. Clean water doesn’t just quench thirst; it fuels opportunity, health, and hope.

Why We Recommend Steel Posts Over Wood Posts
Our No-Dig Fence System

Our no-dig fence system offers a more efficient, durable, and yard-friendly solution compared to traditional fence installations. Instead of digging holes and pouring concrete to set posts 2 feet deep (and usually a lot less), we use a special, powerful machine designed to drive metal posts almost 4 feet into the ground. This innovative technology ensures superior stability, with the added depth providing increased resistance to shifting or leaning over time.
We go above and beyond ASTM standards, which recommend driving posts only 36 inches deep, ensuring your fence is even more secure and long-lasting. This method, also used in the construction of bridges and skyscrapers, proves its strength and reliability. Unlike traditional fence installations, our no-dig system doesn’t tear up your yard, leaving it in pristine condition. It’s a quicker, more environmentally friendly approach that avoids the mess and disruption associated with digging and concrete, while delivering long-lasting, secure results.
Japanese Cedar vs. Western Red Cedar: What’s the Difference?
When it comes to cedar wood, two popular options are Japanese cedar and Western red cedar. Both are excellent choices for fencing and other outdoor applications, offering durability and natural beauty. However, there are some key differences between the two.
Western Red Cedar: Known for its rich color and aromatic scent, Western red cedar is commonly used in a variety of construction projects. While it provides excellent durability, it does tend to shrink more significantly than Japanese cedar over time, which may affect its appearance and performance. On average, Western red cedar lasts around 25 years, making it a solid choice for long-lasting structures.
Japanese Cedar: Often regarded for its stability, Japanese cedar typically experiences less shrinkage compared to Western red cedar. This makes it a better option for projects where maintaining the integrity and appearance of the wood is important. Japanese cedar also tends to have fewer knots, providing a cleaner, more consistent look. Like Western red cedar, it has a lifespan of about 25 years.
A common misconception is that Chinese cedar is the same as Japanese cedar, but they are actually quite different. While Chinese cedar may be less durable and prone to faster decay, Japanese cedar is highly regarded for its strength and long-lasting properties.
Regardless of whether you choose Japanese cedar or Western red cedar, both are amazing products. We've had great success with both types of cedar, and the quality speaks for itself. Some may try to downplay one over the other for cheap sales tactics, but the evidence simply doesn’t back that up. Both offer outstanding performance, and your choice ultimately depends on your specific needs and preferences.
